Elmiron vision
loss claim

Has your vision been affected after taking the Interstitial Cystitis drug, Elmiron?

Find out whether you are eligible to file a claim against the manufacturer on a no-recovery no-fee basis

Elmiron and vision issues

There is a growing body of scientific evidence that shows Elmiron users are experiencing issues with their vision and this has now been directly linked to taking the drug.

Elmiron is prescribed to prevent the pain associated with IC (interstitial cystitis) a condition that affects millions of Americans each year. It contains PPS (pentosan polysulfate sodium).

Studies now show that long term use of PPS (pentosan polysulfate sodium) can potentially cause toxic maculopathy which can lead to permanent eye damage.

Pigmentary maculopathy

The specific type of maculopathy linked to Elmiron is pigmentary maculopathy. Studies have found that this type of maculopathy seems to be unique to Elmiron users.

We believe the manufacturer, Janssen Pharmaceuticals, should be held accountable.

If you’ve had issues with your vision after long term use of Elmiron then read on.

WHY THIS IS IMPORTANT

Elmiron is still being marketed as a treatment with only minor side-effects. As studies are now showing, this isn’t the case, and many people are suffering from irreversible damage to their vision.

We believe the manufacturer needs to be held accountable for this wrong doing and we believe they should compensate people like you who are suffering due to this negligence.
